Leads leads leads

Ahoy there,

So. Is there any real need to spend $173 on leads and patch leads, or does it matter at all really?

i ain't trying to reignite any monster vs bayou vs the cable i found on the ground arguments, but really, does it make that big a difference?

I played through a friend's monster leads for a while, and the sound did seem to be better than just average leads i got anywhere else, but maybe i just imagined it or something...

It doesn't seem to matter in home theater systems, so I doubt it would have a particularly large effect in the bass world as long as you're not using those crap ass cables like the ones included with many starter packs.

It doesn't matter for active interconnects, it's all imagination.
If you could possibly hear a difference, a little tweak of EQ or Gain would easily adjust it.
