Leak? Squier Paranormal Rascal Bass HH

Yep the pickups are crazy hot. You have to massively adjust your gain staging and/or put something with cut in front of the gain stage

The active bass pad helps if you are going straight into an amp that has one. If find that without that even zero gain in the preamp section is too much
 
Incase folks are still looking for a case for theirs… this Crossrock case is perfect and so far really nice. Have had it a couple days so hopefully it holds up.

I took some time this weekend to shield my Rascal with copper tape. Putting it back together, I noticed something odd…

The set screws for the knobs are in completely different locations on the knobs. One is noticeably higher than the other. Weird.

Anyone else have this?

I just threw labella gold flats “ Stang” strings on mine and they are great.

Do not try regular gold flats as they won’t like the break angles at the bridge or wrapping around the posts.

The stang strings fit perfectly and since they are designed for string-through they install fine.

Are those golds the Mustang flats or the normal gold deep talkin’?
