Learning curve from GarageBand to Logic?

How's the learning curve to move up from GarageBand to Logic? I have mastered mixing in GB and want to know how easy it will be to graduate to big kid mixing.

If anyone could recommend something similar to logic that they have had a good experience with, that would be great too. I'm lookin to mix rock songs as well as create rap beats and tracks. Thanks.

Apple has made each newer version of Logic to be more like GB in basic UI.

Logic X just adds the mixer and more bells and whistles. Easy transition for you. Take a look at StudioOnePro and Cubase 7 too. I have all three if you have any questions

I've found the transition to be fairly seamless. You will have a LOT more effects, loops, and depth, but the layout will be familiar to you. You'll also get mastering capabilities to put out full pro recordings. Make sure you have a LOT of RAM though, and I'd put all the loops and software instruments on an external hard drive as well. Save yourself the headache and buy a Glyph the first time.
