Leaving gear at a house for jamming

I'll leave stuff at a home of someone I fully trust, but that's it. I'd have no problem leaving my gear at any of my current band members houses.

In my last band we all left our gear at the drummers house. I'd typically leave my amp and cabs there and take my bass with me.

I've been in bands where they practiced at the drummers house, but I wouldn't leave a pick there overnight. My current band I leave my cab only, and bring my head home. I prefer lockouts, but even those aren't 100% safe. The only place 100% safe is in my line of sight.

My friends leave their gear here at my house all the time. It takes four keys to get from the front porch into my studio and I have steel doors, security cameras, and a large dog.

If I can't trust 'em with my stuff, I don't jam with them. Music is an intimate thing (IMHO) and if you can't trust 'em, it isn't worth your time.
