LED rope light for rack lighting? How'd ya do it?

So it doesn't just change colors, it does stuff like chasing too? I need that! Where'd you get them?

Home depot. $44.97 (plus tax $49). "Commercial electric multi-color changing lights" I believe the model # is 1000 009 214. It is a 8 foot roll, with power supply and remote. I used two sided tape on the inside of the rack. I am sure you may find cheaper ones on-line but, I have a bad habit of being impatient and just went and bought these since the local store had them in stock

I got to mess around with those blister pack led kits on a trade show build. The strips of led came in 2' sections with connectors and power supply and romote control. The strips are backed with 3M peal and stick tape. You could stick up to ten strips on one power source.

Very cool product. Brightness control, colors, fades, and speed control. The slow fade was really cool.

Also, all the remotes worked with all the kits, so, you could control a kit in your rack, and others in your cabs with one remote.
