Left Hand fingers touching g string causing string noise?

Hello, recently ive been trying to really clean up my technique after almost 2 years of playing. My number one bother with my playing is the string sliding noise every time i have to move my hand up and down the fretboard. I know that flatwounds would help a lot, but i really like a bright, kind of finger noise-like sound. My number one thing im having trouble with is that when im playing on the E and A strings, the very bottom of my fingers touch the G string and cause some string noise that way. I know you're supposed to play on your finger tips, and i do to an extent, but my fingers dont go down to the fretboard at a straight line if that makes sense. My main question is, when you are playing the lower strings, do the bottom of your fingers (mostly just my index) touch the high(er) strings? Or is this something to work on?

Arched fingers and playing on the tips has its place, but having all your fingers flat on the neck is also handy. I do that most of the time, unless outlining a chord, or something else where more than one note has to ring through. If you're not using your pinky for a specific part, use it to mute.
