I respect differences, they can be gay, weird, goth, etc.. Whatever as long as they play lego when they're young.

I had the lego carnival set, that's what I remember using. I'm only 19 and it was a while ago, but I remember them being great toys.

I went through phases. First I liked the regular sets with blocks, sets like starwars and life on mars. Then I converted to the technic sets and I really went for it with those. My best creations were a fully functional crossbow and a remote controlled car. I miss Legos and I'd buy sets again if they weren't so expensive!

I've been playing the Lego games on PS3 - The two Batman games and the Star Wars Complete saga. Easy, fun, no pressure, nice relaxing games. Plan on getting the LOTR one.

How did the Lego bow withstand the tension required to be functional?

I found some old sets cheaper at this site called Bricklink. I bought one of the aforementioned sets there.

Yezzir! I don't even hardly remember the story line, all I remember was my family having a computer from 1991 and trying to play that game as a young boy. Game froze more than penguin nuts in the middle of winter, man!

Don't forget about Lego Indiana Jones... those are actually some of my favorite games! Nice and fun while relaxing. Not to mention they're a new way to re-live some of our favorite movies.

Nope, hard plastic that looked like bricks. Had tabs like the Legos do and long, short, doors that opened, windows, roofs, etc.

I think my mom gave me a set of those that she had when she was a child, I know what you're talking about

Yup, and also Pirates of the Carribean and Harry Potter. I'll probably end up playing them all.

Ah, I forgot to mention. The Henry Ford Museum is very close to my house, and they have an exhibit called Lego Architecture: Towering Ambition going on right now. This guy builds scale replicas of famous buildings from ordinary Lego blocks.

Also, anyone else ever have Lego candy? They're edible candy Lego blocks, and you can even build with them!
