LEH Offset Bass

Really like the retro-ish design of these basses. I'm also intrigued by some of the standard features such as the P/Soapbar configuration and the tone sliders. Based on Ellis' work experience, I'll bet the construction and service is absolutely top notch.

Anyone with any thoughts or experiences with these?

Lisa Hahn who makes these worked for Roger Sadowsky IIRC.
Nice-looking basses and probably very well put together (though I haven't played one personally).
I like the Jazz-meets-Jaguar vibe of the body shape.

The choice of slider faders for the EQ bands is interesting, and something I've thought about myself.
The only possible liability I can imagine would be that it might be hard to find the center "zero point", as most detented faders
don't have a very strong center-click compared to rotary pots. But she may have figured that out.

I read that she has gone through a bunch of these before settling on the ones used.

They look and sound great. Somewhat cost prohibitive but Lisa has the well earned Sadowsky cred. I've messaged her a few times about specs. Rreeeaally want one.

I have a 5 string in the works right now; it seemed like a natural choice as the PJ configuration has been really cool for the current work I've been getting. I also dig that Sadowsky influences like the spokewheel truss nut & boost-only preamp are still inherent. In some ways the vibe kinda reminded me of Tim Cloonan. Having said that, Ellis has been great to communicate with - she shares some interesting concepts on her build process time to time.
