Lemmy's sound

I have an original Guv'nor pedal and it's cool but I'll also mention the Z. Vex Box of Rock. I own one and use it and it can be extremely cool, better than the Guv'nor in my opinion. I've been playing with the knobs and with the tone dialed down and the volume turned up to compensate I actually got it to hold the bottom better than the Guv'nor too. Check it out.

Maybe a guitar distortion with some sort of EQing on it (does the Guv'nor have that?) and EQ it just like Lemmy EQs his amp...my 2cents.

yeah, the EQ is definitely a good feature. I used the Guv'nor not so much because it sounds uber-marshallish right out of the box, but because I had a Guv'nor to use. Incidentally, it also does a kickin' Rob Wright sound.

I myself wouldn't bother with something as costly as a Zvex pedal for this.... there's much cheaper stuff out there that can do the same thing.
