The Capital One really bugs me, its a very predatory card and all the endorsers don't seem cash strapped to me. But what do I know, I remember when a Robert De Niro movie could be counted on as being a good one.

Yeah, that's another one. I used to think Samuel L Jackson was alright too. That commercial was just so IN YOUR FACE, I'd lunge for the mute button.

IMO, this isn't a scam. Is it worth the money? Maybe not, but its a legit product. Who knows? Maybe Jay truly believes in it.

OK, it bugged me a little when Alex Tribec (sp?) started doing Colonial Penn commercials, but I figured anyone can miss calculate retirement funds. Jay Leno perpetuating the Life loc scam is infuriating to me. He used to be cool. I guess you have to pay for all that car insurance somehow.

It's probably wise to focus on celebs product plugging than on life lock's legitimacy/illegitimacy, (yeah, right!) otherwise, this could get ugly.

And in what respect is Life Lock a scam? Please explain to us. I am aware that there is a legal case around the ethics of the founder, but not aware of legal actions alleging that the Life Lock service is a scam.

Celebs do commercials. Most of them do check the vendor first, and I would assume Leno did as well.
