Leo Fender's C.M.A. card

    Found a cool image on Instagram (courtesy of @geartalk) of Leo Fender's Country Music Association membership card. I thought a few of you might think it neat, so I decided to screenshot it and share it here. (Here's to hoping this works from mobile... I sure do miss our old TB Android app.)

  2. huh, didn't know Leo Fender was into country, though I guess that explains the Tele.... interesting artifact though and thanks for posting.

    Really ?
    Isn't it ironic that his first focus was making instruments for Bakersfield style country, and they sure stuck, but went on to be among the most demanded for rock and pop?. Even the Strat was first developed and marketed for country.
