huh, didn't know Leo Fender was into country, though I guess that explains the Tele.... interesting artifact though and thanks for posting.

Really ?
Isn't it ironic that his first focus was making instruments for Bakersfield style country, and they sure stuck, but went on to be among the most demanded for rock and pop?. Even the Strat was first developed and marketed for country.
Then Buddy Holly showed up.
