Any recent updates on the status of Leo Quan? I understand he hasn't made anything in several years, website is gone, etc. Some say Fender acquired his company... while other stuff I've read says Fender just bought as much of Quan's inventory as possible.

Are the Omega bridges truly being made by Fender? How do they compare to Quan's?

Have the older Leo Quan Badass bass bridges (particularly the II) increased in value?

I'm sure some (or all) of these questions have been tossed out before... if so, tough noogies... merely looking to get the latest intel.

Thanks, folks!

No. Don't know. They are comparable. No.

From what I remember Quan passed away and the company just kind of went dark. I don't know if Fender bought their stock but when they went through what they had they started putting their own version of the Badass on whatever sig models it came with, like the Steve Harris and Geddy Lee sigs.

I don't think Fender has anything to do with the Omega. If they did I'm sure it would've appeared on a Fender from the factory already and it would be marketed as a Fender. Fender's hi-mass looks kind of similar, but not really.
