Les Claypool new pedals

Has anyone told Les he doesn’t need all his pedals? If he can’t get there with his hands, don’t know what to tell you. He should be fine just plugging into an amp. Audience can’t hear any difference.
Welcome to the effects forum, where bashing effects usage is not allowed. So why don’t You tell Les that yourself and see what kind of reaction you get?

BTW, having heard him play, I’m pretty certain he could smoke most of us plugged straight in and with effects.

I'm going to guess Parzival is doing that thing called "a joke"...

Anyone recognise this pedal? Blurry as hell but looks like it has a white stripe across it if that helps.

zombie thread - but i cannot for the life of me find out why les has a roland PK5 on stage. what songs by primus does he use this on? or are these for his jam bands and he just happens to have it on stage just because?
When I saw Primus last summer he had two keyboards on stage which he played on their newest songs and a Rush cover. He might be triggering notes with the Px5s? Or maybe he has them hooked up via midi to his effects?
Hope this helps

Yeah its gotta be new stuff cause none of the og primus songs have synth (one track on antipop does but not enough thatd he bring entire rigs to do that one track haha).

The rush thing i get, makes perfect sense. Thanks man!

I haven’t seen him live in ages but I chased him around through primus, frogs, oyster head and bucket of brains and was front row at many of them.

He tap dances a ton live. Sometimes it’s just interlude soundscapes, extended improv sections and other noise making, I think.
