Les Claypool pedalboard 2024

When ever i saw Les live i would always be in front of him studying his every move and gesture ..unless it was at celebrity theatre in this case the stage spins wich is kinda neat but uber lame too...the blue in the sky was always like neonish in the theatre,,i always kept hearing people arguing and calling eachother kunts,,it was strange ,,i felt like a gun made of rays were bouncing around me emberassing them selfs like lil boxing furry
Joeys or Jozays,,like i was ten years in the past ..like if i was gay id have a husband who would cheat for me to be the best even undeserving and be seen in front of millions. almost like i warped down a greengo shiney tube with a sunburst piece of bodied wood with out a neck that was picked up ,and that body was wounded from a mechanical apparatus seen threw cardboard towns .and i seemed to 4get the warmth of the sun. he took a pig mask from a young young kid cuz his melted in 95,,,probally cuz dell davis tree farm was a tad too bright. my first one was300.now its 750..crazy how times change,,phender jaco bender,

What are all these though? Are all of them just switchers or something?

This is a picture from the Sessanta tour. Probably the clearest picture I've ever seen of his board. Nothing here that we couldn't see in the other pictures, but at least it becomes very clear that those little boxes in between are in fact just switchers.
I believe his tech talked about it in an interview years ago. I have no idea why he would use these switchers instead of just running through the effects. One possible reason would be to bypass a pedal in case it stops working, but this seems like a super complicated weird way of solving that potential issue.
Another reason could be to turn on and off multiple effects at once. But I don't really see him doing that when he's playing. He's usually turning on single effects for certain moments.
