You gotta be kiddin' me man! Texas gets some great concerts, especially Austin! I've seen the Flecktones in Both Houston and Austin. And if you've never had your chance to see Wooten then here you go...Flecktones are coming back to Stubbs on Sept. 13th. I saw Medeski Martin and Wood in Austin at Stubbs too. Also Austin is home to what has become one of the premier music fests in the nation, South by Southwest.

I've seen Les Claypool twice here in TX. Once with Sausage (mid-90's) and once with Primus. Oddly enough the band Helmet was on the bill both times. The first time Sausage opened for Helmet, the next time Helmet opened for Primus. Both were great shows and Les was on both nights. Fantastic stuff.

Hey fadlan, I've seen Les play a total of 5 times here in texas since the early 90's. All with Primus. Last time I saw him was 2/10/00 at La Zona Rosa. Theres a bootleg here of the show. http://www.primussucks.com/frames/fboot.html
