Let’s talk Jazz basses

So I was able to get out this weekend and demo a couple more jazzes.

G&Ls. A JB and a JB tribute. Not sure why really but I wasn't feeling the JB tribute. To my hands they felt very different and the tonal difference was pretty significant. The JB was sweeeeet though, the neck played so fast and had a beautiful flame to it, the tone was killer as well. Sadly this shop had a Tokai but it sold, they didn't have it in stock very long, just a couple of weeks.

I also made it out and sampled a solid handful of Ibanez Jazzish basses and while every one I played felt great and sounded good, none of them were calling my name. Crazy bang for the buck though so I may have to go another round with them.

the last stop was for a geddy MIM, I honestly didn't like it haha. I don't love the look of it for some reason? It could be the glossy finish and the block inlays? Just not my style. Something about the neck didn't feel quite right to me either.

thanks again for the continued support and advice! Having a great time testing them out and experiencing the variety of options.
