Let me try this different way - re-issue bass guitar

I had put the post here and it was taken down as a spam/not allowed.
I understand.
I just cannot cool down to tell you, guys, great news - I was talking to the guys at Eastwood Guitars to try to re-issue one of iconic bass guitars - Acoustic Black Widow.
They came to me this morning to tell me project is approved. I already put down payment for it.
It will be 32" scale, one pick up, zero fret, volume and tone control.
I cannot give you a link. You need to figure out it yourself.

Just to clarify - "Acoustic" here means the old brand name, their electric bass model, not an ABG (hoping the pic won't get me in trouble):

Acoustic was selling Mosrite an Hofner guitars under their label. Not many were manufactured.

I have just chatted with 'Vince' at Eastwood Guitars. I asked him if the pickup was going to be a single-coil or a humbucker. Vince replied that Eastwood plans to use a staple pickup like on their Saturn bass [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

As I know, and what was on the picture, they were planing to use Vintage D style pick up like they used with [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] model

Today, I just exchanged e-mails with Michael Robinson, owner of Eastwood Guitars, and Michael confirmed that the pickup shown on the prototype is the one used on the production run. So, we should get the "K-200 like" single-coil pickup after all. Yippee!

regular 4-bolt neck? the Japanese Black Widow I owned had a 3 bolt neck with a VERY long neck tenon and one of the bolts adjusted the neck angle. it was pretty ingenious, if not entirely stable ...

Got a news back from Eastwood - they will be out in mid-April. I already payed full amount for it.

Depends on what you need a bass for. Sometimes an ABG is the best choice. An EB can sound just wrong in some live and studio settings. The woodiness of a good ABG can make for a stellar performance. But hey a Pbass into an SVT is the only choice. Unless it isn’t.
