Sadly I think this system is flawed because I only received 5 likes, 4 actually since one person liked my band and then immediately unliked it. Mind you I liked every link on here.

I think most people have good intentions but it comes down to people feeling like doing it. I've had that experience myself when I put something up and nobody liked it.

Anyway it's nice (and I will get to you FB pages now that it's the weekend) but it's a bit beside the point. The way to build a following about your band is by getting out there and doing lots of gigs.

Obviously. I'm not expecting to get a huge fanbase from TB members liking my bands Facebook page. The whole point is that more likes helps you get better gigs etc, so that's kinda what I thought everyone's intention was with this page. I feel ya man, don't let it get you down. I experienced the same thing. I figure it's free for me... I'll give 'em away and if I get one back then awesome. If not, well... I did my part, anyway.

The other problem is that these threads get so big...there's no way anybody's wading through 50+ pages of fb clicks.
