I noticed today that we can now link SoundCloud clips in our posts. So let's do this thing - I'll start:

This is a track, entitled from my upcoming microtonal ambient album, Songs In The Key Of X.

Let's hear your stuff. Go!

Cool stuff. I didn't even know about sound cloud. I like what you're doing there.

I just uploaded a song from my band. It's a fusion-type tune called Second of Six. Let's see if this works.

EDIT: Good idea to list the gear.
Bass: Warrior Signature 4 Neck-Through
Pedal: Boss OC-3 (in OC-2 mode) for the unison parts
Preamp: Phil Jones Bass Buddy recorded direct into the board.

This was recorded live with no edits, punches, or overdubs.

Coolio.

Here's a track we just finished in the studio. It's got a "heavy alternative" sound that came out with a little bit of a 90's feel.

For the gear nerds (and those doing a gear search later):

Bass: Warwick Corvette $$
Effects: EHX - POG, Maxon - AF-9, T-Rex - Reptile, Fulltone - Bassdrive
Amps SVT- II into a Bergantino NV610 ("clean" amp) GK 700RB-II into a SVT15E cab (effected)

Here is a track from my band's new album. The band is called The Bye Bye Blackbirds. The album is called "Fixed Hearts" and it's on Rainbow Quartz records.

I think I recorded this on a Lakland JO through a Samamp tube preamp. I generally play this song finger style but I think I may have used a pick on this recording. Got a little hair on it!

This should be used in a sticky for the age old, 115 vs 212 vs 210 vs 410 vs 212/210 vs 410/115 vs 210/112 vs etc etc... and ampeg vs gk vs blah blah blah, you get the idea. Of course it would take time but man just with cab comparison would help all those looking to change rigs that cant get to a store to try them out or the research junkies like myself.

Just an idea :hmm:
