Let's see your Bass Rig

Here are a few of my Kustom 100 and 200 rigs. The first photo, on the left, my wife's k100 with single 15" JBL, and on the right a k100 with two CTS 12" speakers.
Second photo, are k100's with 2x12, 2x12, and 1x15 speakers (50 watts)
Third photo has k200 Frankenstein with 2x15+horn in the back, a pair of p.a. columns, a k100, a k200 2x15, and a few of my four string basses. View attachment 2963219 View attachment 2963220 View attachment 2963221 View attachment 2963219 View attachment 2963220 View attachment 2963221

DAMN!! That's a nice Kustom Kollection. I had the black 200 with that 2x15 bottom in '72/'73 or so. Mine had the required (at that time) cigarette burns in the 'nauga. Young, dumb and having fun! LOL

Ok so we have seen basses and guitars so now its time to see your Bass Rig. Through my life it has always been a struggle to have the best sounding rig. Sometimes it is a combo but for me most times it has been an amp and a speaker cabinet. Here is a picture of my most current rig and I will post more of my other rigs when I get home. I am real curious to see what people are using.

I don't have a way to post pictures but I am currently using a Carvin B1000 head and 2 15" speakers. It is a small rig but it serves my needs. I am getting funds together to buy a Carvin PB5 to share time with my Birdsong Hy5. I am playing in a band that does OLD country music. The Carvin does a good job for me. I just hope I don't have any issues since Carvin is no more.

This "ST112P" cab and Traynor Bass Mate is my recording and/or rehearsal rig (sometimes gig rig, but with my new Quilter BassBlock 800):

If its a loud gig, I use this (but with the BB800):

I'm always surprised how loud these 112s can get, and still cover low end, and weigh so little! The holy grail of cabinets (for me)!

That is a sweet rig... I used one with that head at a rehearsal studio into an Ampeg 115 and I was blown away with the power, punch and tone.. It had the Ampeg B15 tone with the Sunn 200s power.

How do you like the Xvive U2? I've been thinking about getting one.
I’m fairly pleased with it. I don’t notice much if any difference from my high quality Mogami cable. You just have to make sure you have them charged freshly if it’s a long gig. I have two pairs which I can alternate and/or have a backup as functionally they are identical pairs.
