North Korea has just announced the launch of its new Big Kim series of bass amps and cabinets, due to hit the US mainland soon. Early reviews are less than enthusiastic, describing the tone as "boomy".

The problem with uber cabs is they tend to get the signal caught in Crossover Traffic and sound like a congested Hendrix.

The old timers playing upright in jazz bands always used a Cab Callaway.

The only way you could get a Cab Callaway at the time was if you had a Invalid Link Removed.
Highly sought after, but required a lot of green to acquire.

that one only has three strings.

It's a Russian bass Banjolaika.

The 4.5 string electric banjo became extinct with the dinosaurs when earth was struck by Bill Haley's comet 65 million years ago. It was resurrected when God plucked it from Adam Clayton's ribs and plugged it into an Eden amp on the eve of Earl Scruggs' first North American tour.
