Not many people know this but Bob Dylan's grandfather, Jeremiah Zimmerman, created the Zimmerframe, originally the Zimmerman Frame, but reduced to Zimmer Frame to reduce advertising costs which were by the word in the 1930s and as Zimmermanframe was too difficult for people to scan. It was from this Robert Zimmerman (Dylan) created the cradle for his harmonica by sawing off the top section and adapting it. Sadly, Dylan forgot to patent it and so had to become a professional musician rather than the engineer he had intended to be.
