There are some very cool cars in here. I'm a big Porsche fan, but don't even close to being able to afford one. 
The practical:

My dream car would be a '67 Shelby GT. I'm not picky on wether a big block or small block it would be okay with me, as long as it's a 4spd.
I do have a regular '67 Mustang big block 4spd car, but don't think I'll ever be able to get around to restoring this extreme of a project now.

I like your style CdC. When I was 11 (um, 35 years ago...) my best friend's brother had a 67 Shelby GT350: black with yellow stripes, 289 4 spd. I thought it was the coolest car ever then, and I still do.
He eventually retired it and got a "driver" '68 GT fastback with a 390/4 spd. When he sold it I was 16 and couldn't get the $2200 he wanted for it
Never got over it.
In that family one brother had a 68 Fastback 289/4 spd, and my friend wound up with a poppycock red '67 Fairlane GT. Man those guys had great taste in cars.
By then I was rocking a Datsun pickup that I could fit big amps in

What gets me now is how much Shelbys have jumped in the last 10 yrs. My roommate in the mid 90's had a '66 GT350, and was a member of SAAC, and always got the newsletters, and 66-68 GT350's were always listed in there from $25,000-$45,000. He bought his for 20k and sold it 42k then. Now you can't touch them for around 100k for a small block car!

When I was 18, my only car was a restored '68 mustang 289 coupe, and I would load my mesa boogie 2x15 cab in the back seat to get to the gig! :scowl:
