A) D'Addario Nickel rounds. I use the 4 string medium gauge and piccolo gauge versions of these on my basses and I love them! They do make them in a 6 string set.
EXL1706 Nickel Wound 5String | Bass Guitar Strings | D'Addario
B) Light gauge La Bella (regular) White tapes. They're low tension, sound like rounds, and are some of the smoothest strings I've ever played.

One thing to keep in mind is DR Pure Blues, being round-core, are more flexible than hex-core strings of the same gauges. In fact, PB 30-125 would probably feel more flexible than the light set of GHS Super Steels (27-126) I mentioned earlier.
