Light weight basses

I had a P-bass Lyte Deluxe for 8 years. Even with the mahogany body, it was the lightest bass I've ever played. I could play it as long as I wanted without my shoulder getting tired. If you can find one, I would go for it.

Check out Dingwall, I have owned and played many Fenders, Musicman Bongo's & Stingray, Warwick, Ibanez(prestige), Laklands and by far my Dingwall Afterburner I is the lightest bass I have ever played, I can play 3-4 full sets and barley notice it, it is around 7 lbs. or so.
Oh and it is also the best playing and best sounding bass I have ever played in more than 20 years.
