Lightweight amp tragedies?

Yes, I stash stuff in the back: speakon cables, extension cords, power strips.

I've had pedals dive off the top of amps. I like to keep them up there so that I can adjust them without bending over. Maybe a mini amp-top pedal board would be useful.

Velcro.

Velcro sticks well to rat fur covered cabs. I've stuck pedals and cables onto the side of cabs with velcro.

Here's what I used - 1) a 4U SKB case 2) a 2U rack shelf with vents on the bottom 3) Attached the Genzler feet through the bottom of the rack shelf after carefully measuring and adjusting. Also had to drill out 2 of the vents just slightly bigger in the rack shelf. 4) Put the 1U rack tuner and power conditioner above the amp. 5) Also, I've been waiting since April for Penn Elcom to build me a custom face plate to put in front of the amp. However, it works just fine without the face plate. There's plenty of space in the back and sides for storing cables, extension cords, you name it. The easier solution is to just buy a Class D amp that offers rack ears like an EICH, GK, or Carvin. I wish someone would build a simple 2U rack shelf solution for the Mesa and Genzler with a magnetic face plate that just snaps in place. The benefits of racking small lightweight class D amps are many.

Does it have to be a lite beer mouse pad, or beer related? I'm "clean n serene" these days, so I'd prefer fizzy water branded or similar.
