Actually it's a new generation bass, with hdd 1tb, cpu4core 4Khz, usb, bluetooth, wireless i-net and you will not be needed to play, on the the other side will be a big 6'' touchscreen with android 2020.1 and finaly the artificial intelect too. It will end up with take it and it will play for you and the band too. 
At this point whoever buys it should fill those holes with clear and varied tints of polyurethane.
You can put an ash cap or a different veneer on the top to give it a more exotic view.

At my friends shop he made a guy a nice light alder body to replace the anchor one

Those cutouts give you a decided aerodynamic advantage over a stock T40 in a bar fight scenario.

I kinda like it as well, though I would have gone the route of Chip Todd instead of drilling holes. Really though, I would have just made it into a thinline. Would look much better IMO.

looks like the bassist of DEVO got ahold of it, he did that to his gibson!
It WAS a nice bass. The same results could have been achieved without destroying the overall appearance of the instrument. Two thumbs down.
