Hey all! I have just received a line 6 g50 and I was looking at the power requirements for the receiver and realized it required 300 mah. I am using a voodoo labs pedal power 2x4 currently to power my board and it can only supply a maximum of 250 mah out of it's L6 ports (the strongest ports it has).
I currently run a little big muff for guitar through one of the L6 ports which also requires 300 mah but since it is a fuzz pedal the lower amperage is okay, at least that is what i am assuming from what I have read. My question for all of you, is what should I do for powering my G50 receiver? Will the 250 mah be enough? I have been able to power it up with that much power but I want to make sure I am not doing anything that will hurt the unit. I realize it will shorten the range slightly, but other than that will anything happen? Thank you in advance!
