Line 6 HX Effects stuck in boot failure after latest update

Just as the title says, my HX Effects is stuck in boot failure after attempting to update to 3.70. HX Edit is up to date. The install process froze and failed after about 20 minutes. Internet connection was good, no sudden power loss, no faulty USB connection, etc. It just stopped. Now my HX Eff. is inoperable due to being stuck in boot failure. I tried a factory reset (turn on while holding button 6 + tap), but it will not reset. It gives a brief partial message on the button 5 scribble strip about what will reset, then immediately goes back to the boot failure, and HX Edit will not recognize it and continue to say there is no device connected. I've contacted Line 6 customer service, but have yet to hear from them.

Any help??

Don’t worry, they will get you running. I just went through this. You’ll have to download a different updater, and put the HX Effects in a special mode. Can’t remember how I did it, what button I held while power cycling, but they will get you there. It will be resurrected.
