Line 6 Relay Transmitter Whazzit ?

OK. So I remove the belt clip from my Line 6 G50 transmitter today and as I loosened the single Philips head screw a small e-clip falls out. Anyone know if this is a stock bit, belongs in that area. And, if so, where does it go and what does it do?

My G90 receiver (assume it similar to G50) has it's belt clip held in by a single screw. No e-clip at all.
It might be different on the new models ?

i've taken my G50 beltpack completely apart a dozen times over the years (hell, i custom-modded it with a metal jack!) and i don't remember a c-clip like that.

Perhaps someone was using it as a spacer or washer.
