Line-level help!!

Hello TB!

I am having issues with my effects chain, specifically with my MarkBass SuperSynth. Here's my chain:

Spector Legend 5 > korg pitchblack tuner > dunlop crybaby bass wah > sansamp programmable 3-ch DI > markbass supersynth > modtone deep dive suboctave plus > marshall regenerator multichorus > hartke lh1000 > ampeg svt 810cl

The issue I'm having is that anytime the synth is engaged, there's a significant volume reduction that makes the synth almost inaudible at band volume. Also, the clip light is constantly illuminated on the pedal. I've also notices the volume seems to Increase when the multichorus is on. I have adjusted the attentuator on the spector tonepump I had installed and made sure the level on the sansamp was pretty low and it is still clipping.

I am open to suggestions, my band is a hard rock/prog rock/foofightersy sound and I am loving the svt preset on the sansamp. I have considered running the sansamp through the effects loop to kill the preamp on the hartke making it act essentially as a 1000w power amp and I also have a David Eden navigator preamp at my disposal if you feel it may be necessary. Or I could try running the whole chain through the loop. Anyone know what to do about the synth? Here's a link to get an idea of my band's sound if that helps as well. Www.reverbnation.com/madrone

How are you powering the synth? My markbass super booster was giving me fits til I used the power supply inluded with it. I was running it through an iso5 but incorrectly (my bad). Had the same issues as you. Used the 12v supplied, problem solved.

On the SansAmp, how do you have the 1/4" Out Boost Switch set? The way your chain is currently nothing should be set at line level.

My suggestion would be to remove all of the pedals and start only with the SuperSynth. Do it work okay on it's own? If yes, add another pedal and try again. Continue until you find out what makes it not work.

If it doesn't work well on it's own, then you either have an issue with the pedal itself or your patches aren't optimized for your volume levels.

Thanks for the responses! I am using the included power supply for the markbass as it is not compatible with the 1spot. the sansamp 1/4" boost is not active. I've tried the synth straight out of the box and its been fine, but the volume reduction is more noticeable through my 810 than my practice rig (hartke lh1000 non-bridged thru peavey 115)
