Line Selector/Switcher Help?

Hi Guys
Was wondering how line switcger pedals work, i have 3 pedals in my rig and wud like a easy way to switch between tones and setting and wondered if a line selector does this function?

They let you switch between separate loops of pedals without stepping on them individually (the pedals can stay on but they switched in and out of the signal path).
You can also blend effects and/or clean signal. Effects often sound different when running in parallel than when cascading into each other. Some pedals really need some clean signal blended in or they get too washed out in a band mix.

Currently using...
ProCo Turbo Rat (Distortion)
DigiTech Synth Wah (Synth/Envelope Filter)
Boss RC-3 (Loop Pedal)
Boss OS-2 (Overdrive)

will probably add a Compressor and Tuner at a later date

I think been able to add some clean bass into these effect would sound absolutley amazing

The Boss LS-2 is a really versatile unit.

Yeah, it has two channels, A and B. You can have a signal path in each, but if you leave one unplugged it becomes a clean channel. Both channels have a level control.
The mode dial selects what you want the footswitch to cycle through: A/Bypass, B/Bypass, A/B/Bypass, etc.
The A+B/Bypass is for clean blend or running effects in parallel.

It does more stuff too, like acting as a mixer. Really handy tool.

The letdown for me is that you can't switch channels on/off individually - like A/A+B.
Also I'd like more channels, so I'm waiting on a Wounded Paw V4 Blender. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

How would I set my pedals up with the LS-2
In terms of where in the chain of pedals would the LS-2 go and how do I set it to blend clean and effects.

I don't have a LS-2 so I could be wrong, but it seems like Bass>LS-2>Amp. Then connect the A-send to the input of the pedal you're blending, and the output of the pedal to the A-return. Set the Mode switch to A+B mix / bypass, and adjust A(effected) and B(clean) levels to taste.

Wow you can have it so the looper stays clean over effects? Thats amazing!!!

The LS-2 is integral in my bass sound, such a great pedal. And, despite my other experiences with Boss products, I hear no amount of "hum" added in, so that's nice

My set up is:

Peavey BQuad5 -> Guyatone Micro Tuner -> EHX Tube EQ -> Boss LS-2 -> GK 1001RB-II

The Boss LS-2 loop is where it gets interesting:

"Creamy Dreamer" Custom Fuzz pedal (modded Russian Big Muff circuit, made for my band's guitarist to emulate Billy Corgan's sound but I appropriated it for myself) -> Morley Volume Pedal -> Boss DD-6 Digital Delay

I keep the above set up always on, with a ~70/30 blend, but generally have the volume pedal down to "contain" the fuzz. When I want a strings-like modulated affect I slowly step down on the volume pedal, then back. The delay is there to "catch" the sounds and carry them out, despite the volume pedal being choked down upon. I absolutely love this set up.

Currently looking to pick up A) another delay pedal to put after the Boss LS-2 for a subtle effect B) a nice reverb pedal to set after the fuzz pedal in the chain.

tl;dr, the Boss LS-2 is AWESOME. I generally prefer "clean" tones, so this set up is perfect for the purist in me.

Really struggling with this pedal can anyone help?
Need a really basic term description of how to set this baby up and what setting to use,
I'm wanting to get a blend of clean bass and effects,
I'm using the following effects pedals:

Bass -> LS-2 input
Send A -> distortion -> filter -> OD -> Return A
Leave Send/Return B unplugged - this is your clean channel.
LS-2 Output -> RC-3 -> Amp

Turn on whichever pedals in Loop A you want to use. Set the LS-2 to A+B. Turn it on and adjust the A and B levels to get the clean/effects blend you want.
