Line splitter on passive DI box?

Hi, recently I built a passive DI box with Cinemag DI transformer, but there is one thing I'm not sure about...I have input of DI box simply wired parallel to output (thru), so basically same signal is goes to DI transformer and bass amp both in live and when recording (miking the amp).

is this wiring ok or there should be line splitter circuit (or another transformer) before DI, so amp input is electrically separated from bass/di?

Yep, that's all you need. There are nice DI schematics on the Jensen website if you decide to add features like ground lift or a pad switch though.

thanks. I already added GND lift, but now I realized I may add "AC coupling option", as I mostly play active basses.
