linking amp to pre-amp

hi justin , i just bought a ampeg svp pro bass pre-amp and want to connect to my mark bass sd 800, i have never linked a pre-amp before can you help me ?

Plug the preamp's out to the effects return (no send, just return) of the Markbass and it should work.
