Live sound

Depends on how it sounds out front and how much bottom end you like. Maybe it's fine out front but you just miss that solid feel you get up close with on onstage rig.

The other antidote to being lost in the mix would be to boost the mid range - that usually cuts through better than increasing highs that are battling against guitars / keyboards / cymbals etc.
