what are they asking? To be fair, if they're only asking like $50 for the guitar, it's not a terrible deal.
No price given, but is willing to trade it for a Les Paul copy guitar...
It's claimed to be a 70's lawsuit bass -El Degas Precision - but you're right that even the all maple neck is probably worth something.
What do the MIJ el Degas basses from the 70's usually fetch? Might be worth something in good shape, but this has been butchered elsewhere, not just the headstock and in all probability, isn't even an el Degas since any pics I've been able to find don't have a truss rod cover on the neck - the adjustment is at the heel.
