Howdy. My name's Steve. I've been playing drums for over 45 years and last December decided to get my hands on a bass. When I googled for information, TalkBass was usually at the top of the reponses, so I started lurking and kept telling myself I'd join. Finally pulled the trigger.

Anyway, I've already learned a lot from this place. Not sure I'd call myself a bass player at this point, but I can definitely bring a drummer's perspective to the party.

Suburban homes aren't conducive either. I'm not sure I'd be playing drums at all now if it weren't for Roland V-Drums.
