Check out this old aluminum neck Kramer. I did not know they were short scale!
Cool not for me I like the vintage stuff but find the new stuff is just much better .
Bill Wyman played one. That alone tells you they came in short scale. Bill hates long scale.
It had fairly heavy flat wounds but still got a decent slap tone when I soloed the bridge pickup.
I personally am not interested in purchasing it

That's one of the coolest I've seen. Most of the ones still out there come with the ubiquitous P pickup.
Bill Wyman actually played the Travis Bean that the Kramer was modeled after.
I played both back in the day, and the Bean clearly was a better bass. But the Kramers are not without their charm.
I saw that bass and thought about checking it out but I found myself glued to that maple Rick they had there. Price was reasonable if I remembered. Something like $800 right?
