It's a cool lookin bass, but too pricey for non original pickups IMO. Now maybe if it was like $8-900, that'd be a better deal.
Not worth it at all. Maybe if it was a pre-CBS, but that's a maybe.
+ 3 on the price .... and the pickup cover is from a jazz, I think.
Price is a bit high for it not being in collectors' condition. And a good number of late-70's Fender instruments are not too hot. I've owned a 77 P and a 77 or 78 Strat that I have no regrets about selling. For half that price you can pick up a slammin MIJ P from the 80's, if it's just a player's bass you're looking for.
