Looking for a good teacher in Buffalo, NY...

Well....this is my first post...I have been searching for a teacher for awhile now.....still no luck, so if any one in the area know any great teacher that I could study under...I will be truly appreciated.
P.S. I have been playing on and off for quite some time now (if my memory is correct...this might be my 6th year since I brought my first bass, not that I am any good...), self-tought....but figure now might be a good time to really "start" to play bass...

I lived near University at Buffalo North Campus...so...any suggestions ??
