looking for a guitar book

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for beginner guitar books preferably one that comes with a cd. I usually just fool around on guitar but i want to actually learn to play it than just fool around.

I am taking guitar lessons and we are using the Berklee Press
Book for guitar. Leavitt/Method: Guitar Vol. 1...Its an academic approach , etc. The Berklee Website has a whole lot of method books, check it out......

is that the modern method black cover book thats on there site?

I always recommend the Heavy Guitar Bible. Great book.
