Looking for a luthier in the Bay Area

Not sure if this is the right forum but...
I`m looking at buying a mid 60's Gibson EB-3. It could use a little work, mostly electronics and a good setup. Can anyone recommend a good luthier in the San Francisco Bay Area ? I'm in Berkeley but don't mind traveling if the guy is really good.

+1 for Gary Brawer. His shop is Real Guitars on Lafayette in San Francisco, near Civic Center BART. Gary is the best around imo.

anyone know how much gary charges for a setup? I've been going to sf guitar works, but its pretty pricey. They do amazing work though.

I've been doing my own set ups for years. Last I recall, Gary's price was around $75 for standard set up with restring. However, that was many years ago. Where Gary really shines is the more complicated stuff - Pleks, correcting dead spots, pickups rewound, fret work, etc. If you don't have those issues, then I think any decent tech should be able to deliver the set up you need at a reasonable price. What is SF guitarworks charging now?
