looking for a precision and humbucker/soapbar pickup

so i play an american std p-bass tuned BEAD and want to replace the pickups. i want to replace the stock pickup as well as route out another pickup spot in the "sweet spot".

i was going to keep it passive until i happened across EMGs X series of pickups. i dont really enjoy messing with onboard preamps so these really interested me.

im not sure if i would use the PX or PAX as well as what 35 series i would use (maybe the CSX?)

do any of yall have any opinions or experience with these pickups or have any suggestions worth looking into?

I play mostly praise and worship music, but enjoy versatility. i try my hand at other genres when the opportunity presents itself :)

To be honest, I have always thought that a P-bass pickup was already IN the "sweet spot"!

If what you mean is that you want to add a bridge pickup, either p'up that Topcat mentioned would be a good option with the MM-style being a bit more versatile, especially with a coil tap.
