looking for a small combo with fx loop

I have an ibanez sr series that makes some unwelcome noise that gets amplified by my pedals. when i use an amp with an fx loop there is far less noise so I tried an Acoustic B100C. i liked it because it is small so i can bring it to a small gig and it has the fx loop which sounds great with my pedals = way less hiss (i tried everything else). the problem with the amp was that, when the loop was in use and i cranked it up it would attenuate and drop about 3-4db seemingly randomly, which kinda makes the amp useless so i took it back. but i hope i am on the right track just maybe could use one with better electronics? i realize it could be just one bad unit but it's a hassle to try again with that one. just open to suggestions (except redoing the wiring for the bass pickups)

MarkBass has a fleet of combo amps, many with send/return right on the face of the amp.

thanks. i like the rumble 100. the markbass in that size sounds more muffled with my playing style. i am starting to wonder if the acoustic has a limiter in the fx loop circuit. i was running a preamp/compressor, a phaser and two reverbs but the preamp was at noon which normally matches plugging straight in.
