Double Bass Looking for alternative to Hammond-Ashley in Seattle area

The reason isn't terribly important, just hoping someone in the Seattle area has a suggestion for an alternative to Hammond-Ashley in the Seattle area for set-up work.

I realize Crescent Beach, B.C. is a ways from Seattle but I highly recommend Jake deVilliers / Bass Spa. He did extensive work on 2 of my basses and is currently working over #3. He knows what he is doing .

If you're still looking for luthiers in the Seattle area, try checking out the Bass Church. The lady who owns it, Anna Doak, is my old teacher and is really knowedgable, she teaches suzuki bass now in addition to some more advanced students. I did try them, but, again, because my bass has a maple fingerboard, I found no success. I called to make an appointment and spoke with her but the luthier never called me back. So it goes. I'm working out a partial trade for my SVT-4 Pro/410HLF for an Upton. If that works out I'll have a really good bass with, most importantly, an ebony fingerboard, so I shouldn't have these issues in the future.

I have to say my little Palatino has actually been a great bass but the maple fingerboard, however, has been a real problem. I'd recommend one to a beginner except for that.
