looking for amp recommendations

Looking for best amp for ibanez sr series. Mostly home practice and jams with a couple of friends

Mostly classic rock and blues. Drums and guitar. Under $300. I had a 40w combo with my p bass but sold it all several years ago. Just bought the ibanez and wasn't sure about the best fit

I currently have a Rumble 100 for rehearsals and jams and I really like it. It’s been overpowered by the drummer on some gigs, but we keep our rehearsals to a not-so-loud level and it’s plenty. (Rock blues and country btw) they used to be 300 bucks but up to 350 now. I’d shop used and look for a 12” or 15” combo if you can find one…

I used to play a SR through ampeg amps and they always sounded great. I believe the BA series is being replaced by the RB series, so you might be able to find a deal on one.

I hear great things about the Acoustic brand combos, and the Peavey Max combos too. (As you can guess, I’m not too picky about brands, just want enough firepower! )

Watts, 15 for home practice.
Next jump would be a 75 to 100 watt amp for gigging small rooms. Small weight.
150 to 300 for gigging most anywhere else. Weight increases...
Above that I'd be plugged into the house PA system.

Weight and lugging the monster around had a lot to do with it.
Tone, etc. I'll not get into.

I never had a need to go above 300 watts. IMO two 15" speakers did it for me. Country, pop, rock and Praise.
