Looking For Budget Digital Delay - Tap Tempo?

Hey all,

I play bass in a band with a bit of a shoegaze influence, and I'm looking for a CHEAP ($40-80ish) digital delay to add to my board. I'm currently looking at the TC Electronic The Prophet, Behringer EM600, and the Digitech DigiDelay.

The TC The Prophet pedal WOULD be the clear winner IF it had tap tempo. I love the simplicity and crazy noises I've heard in demos. The behringer and digitech delays both have tap tempo, but they also have tons of features I'd probably never use, and they don't look nearly as durable as the TC electronic.

How important do you guys really think tap tempo is? Any other pedal suggestions would be cool.
