Another vote for GHS Pressure Wounds. Even when new and crisp, they have a warmth to them that's remarkable. And they're always ballsy, even when worn in.
DR nickel LoRiders are good for delivering a punchy low end. They don't have as much going on in the upper-midrange & treble as most similarly gauged hex-core strings, making them seem DOA to some people.
When some people say "warm", they are describing the character of the mids, and others describe a tone with rolled-off treble as warm... Which are you looking for?
