Recently replaced a QSC1450 in my rig with an iNuke 3000. Super light and so far so good on sound and reliability.

Anyhow I would like to get rid of my 4x10 for something else because back issue and stages are getting tighter and I want to turn DOWN so a tilt back is what I am thinking I need.

I play about 150 gigs a year in a classic rock cover band with 2 Marshall half stacks. The guys aren't idiots but I still need to hear.

Anything out there that would fit the bill?

I've kept up with a couple non-master half-stacks with just a TH-350 and a 34 lb 4 ohm GK 212MBE . I actually have two of those cabs that I run off an NU3000 as subs when I'm providing sound - I can't imagine using that just for a bass rig :wideyed: ! BTW according to real measurements someone made the NU3000 is 600 watts per channel into 4 ohms which is the rating of those cabs.

I currently have a 410 also. Personally I can't see myself going with anything that puts out less volume. But if I got tired of lifting it in and out of the car I would split up the weight and get two 210 cabs. Easier to pick up, you can use a handtruck/dolly to set them on and roll them in and out of the venue so your not deadlifting them.

Depending on budget and how loud your stage mix actually is, there are certainly a lot of options. Both Bergantino and Fearless come to mind at the top end. The Berg CN410 looks to me like a whole lot of thump per pound. I always liked playing with the Berg NV610; which is a bigger cab but moves pretty easily if you don't do a lot of stairs. The Fearless F212 also looks like a monster. The Berg CN212 can do a lot; but I can see some loud mixes where you might need an extra 112 on it. GL

Stack vertically to saves on stage footprint and the top can will be closer to eat level.

What's your current 410 & what's it weigh? How much lighter do you want? And yeah, how much are you prepared to spend?

Without knowing anything, a used fEARful (15/6, 15/6/1) would be the least expensive smaller/lighter option. ~ $650-700, used. A Bill Fitzmaurice Jack 15 Lite (employing a 3015) would also be super. Not the smallest of boxes, 22" tall x 20" wide x 20" deep, but very likely the lightest, ~35 lbs. Almost none around, so you'd have to go new, ~$850-900 w/full melded piezo array. Massive SPL. A Fearless F115 (15/5/1) will cost more, ~$1000 used, but used ones show up seldom. This is the only tilt-back among these. Just not too many tilt backs around once you leave combos & practice-amp-ville. All these will kick 410s to the curb & then take their lunch money :laugh:. While you're at it, look at the MAS112, too (w/the 18Sound 12MB1000 driver). ~$1200 new.

And you can always talk to Low Down Sound about a custom. Pretty reasonable prices actually.
