Hi all,

I currently have Thomastik-Infeld jazz flats short scale on my squire sonic bronco which I have had to switch to from my other basses. I have a lot of problems with high tension strings due to a health condition that affects my hands and I tried the Thomastik-Infeld which are perfect for the feel but I prefer roundwound strings for the sound.

Anyone know of any similar feeling roundwound strings that wil fit a 30" scale squire sonic bronco?

D'Addario XL Nickel Wound's were very difficult for me to play, earnie ball slinkys were easier but still a bit too much. I tried the Thomastik Infeld Jazz Round Wound Medium/Short on a regular Scale bass and they were not as low tension as the flatwounds but probably the best so far. just wondering if I'm missing a different set off the list.

While they're not rounds per se, the La Bella White Tapewounds sound like rounds, they're really soft to the touch, and they're really light tension.

They will work on short scale but I was wary of cutting them so I wound them around the post a bunch.

They are very low tension and too low on some of my shorties.

These are available in 32" scale.

I like them better than the TIJR, but only by a nose...

Tough to go astray with either
